Urban Geography of the U.A.E.
Urbanization in the U.A.E is very rapid. About 88% of the U.A.E is urbanized. The people living in the U.A.E are affected highly by urbanization; in this situation it is mostly good. U.A.E has now a lot of job opportunities. The U.A.E also has sky scrapers, commercial city centers, highways, high speed internet and large shopping malls. The people of the U.A.E now have exposure to different ethnic groups. Their lifestyle is easier than when the U.A.E was mostly desert and rural. The U.A.E has experienced globalization, especially in the major cities; however the nationals still honor their culture.

It makes up 78%. nationals work in the state sector because of the attractive benefits. The prime industry of the U.A.E is petroleum and petrochemicals.
